A Prayer for Peace
We are moulded, each one of us, in the image of God, and within our souls there is a fingerprint none can erase.
We pray for those who have no regardfor anyone but self, who put no value on human life.
For nations and individuals who abuse and kill.
We are not called to be judge or jury, but we are called to be agents of change,
and if the butterfly that flaps its wings should be our attitude to others then so be it, Lord, and may the hurricane this generates
somewhere within the world reach into the hearts and souls of those for whom we pray, and reveal to them how precious are those
for whom they have no love, and how precious are they who now bring tears to the eyes of God. – John Birch

St. Michael
St. Michael the Archangel stands as a spiritual warrior, an embodiment of the ultimate fight against evil, offering protection to all who seek his guidance. To the eyes of children and the youth, he can be envisioned as an angelic superhero, with a mission akin to those of the caped crusaders they admire. His arch-nemesis, Satan, represents the forces of darkness against which St. Michael valiantly battles.
St. Michael the Archangel Prayer
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Prayer of the Day
Almighty God,
you teach us in your word that love is the fulfilling of the law:
Grant that we may love you with all our heart
and our neighbour as ourselves;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Prayer for peace.
Dear God, Our world is torn with war and violence. I pray that you provide this world with a peace that is only found in you. I pray for those who are suffering from the results of war and violence. I pray you provide them with both physical and mental healing.

Holy Week begins today which is Palm Sunday; it is the greatest week in the Church’s year. It is made holy by the suffering and death of Christ, the Good Shepherd, who died for us His people. I invite and welcome all of you to come to our Churches and celebrate the above Holy Week Ceremonies. I hope the times are convenient for you. This is a week of special blessings and graces. We ask the Lord to help us to avail fully of them.
May Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour fill this Holy Week and Easter with hope, love and peace
for us all.
Wishing you and your families at home and away a very happy Easter.
