Pentecost Sunday: Pentecost is a Christian holiday which takes place on the 49th day after Easter Day. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles of Jesus while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles
Prayer for Pentecost:
Holy Spirit, fill our homes, and set our hearts on fire with the warmth of your love. Inspire us to new beginnings. Help us as part of your universal church to reach out to others with the good news of Christ, to bring hope to those in distress.
