4th Sunday of Easter:
This Sunday is typically called “Good Shepherd Sunday” because the Gospel of this Fourth Sunday of Easter always focuses on the protective, strong, and self-sacrificing leadership of Jesus. He says it himself, “I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Prayer: O God, whose Son Jesus is the good shepherd of your people: Grant that when we hear his voice we may know him who calls us each by name, and follow where he leads; who, with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
