November Altar List: Envelops with insert are now available. Please take one, write out the names of your dead and place them into either Church.
Indulgences: From 1st Nov to the 8th Nov anyone who visits a Cemetery and prays for the dead can gain a plenary indulgence for the Holy Souls. The usual conditions apply of going to Confessions, receiving Holy Communion and praying for the Pope’s intentions.

Facilitators: Fr. Turlough Baxter, F. James McKiernan, Sr. Anna Burke. You are welcome to attend.
Parish Draw:Takes place on Fri 11th Nov after the 7.30 Mass. You are welcome to attend. Ay monies due to the draw please hand in before then.
Abbeylara Parish Centre fundraiser Night: Many thanks to all the people who attend this function on Sunday night last in the Park House Hotel, Edgeworthstown. It was a very enjoyable night for all present. Sincere thanks to all the artists for their superb entertainment; to those who provided refreshments; to those who gave spot prizes; to Frankie Kilbride, Mandi and the staff of the Park House Hotel, to the stewards and to all others who helped in any way to organise and or supervise the event. Your help and support is much appreciated. Congratulations to all the winners in the draw to the best dressed Halloween couple and to the spot prize winners.

Eucharistic Congress: A workshop to mark the third stage of preparation for the Eucharistic Congress will be held on Tue 8th Nov in the Sacred Heart School, Granard at 8pm. This prayer service will be a useful resource that can be used in a variety of situations. You are welcome to attend.
Aughnagarron N.S.: School Building Fundraiser with Presentation to Mark the retirement of Mrs. Brid Donohoe N.T. will be held in The Pikers Lodge, Gowna on Friday 25th Nov 2011 at 9.30. Music by the Storytellers and refreshments served. Please contact school at (043) 6686805 for tickets/information.
Granard Area Action Group:The next meeting of the group will be held on 7 November 2011 at 8.00pm in the Information Office Main Street Granard. All members are requested to attend.
